Our Story
Jim Patterson grew up in these mountains, learning the plumbing trade from his father who worked for one of Asheville's oldest plumbing companies. In 2005, after 15 years as a master plumber, Jim took a leap of faith and started Blue Ridge Plumbing with nothing but his tools, his truck, and a commitment to treating every customer like a neighbor. That first year, Jim answered every call personally, did every job himself, and built a reputation one satisfied customer at a time. Word spread through the tight-knit Asheville community - here was a plumber who showed up on time, told you the truth about what needed fixing, and charged a fair price. Today, Blue Ridge Plumbing has grown to a team of 8 skilled professionals, but our values haven't changed. We're still the neighbors who show up when you need us, treat your home with respect, and stand behind every job we do.

Mike Patterson
Operations Manager
Jim's son Mike grew up on job sites and earned his master plumber license in 2012. He now runs day-to-day operations and specializes in complex repiping projects. He's also our go-to expert for tankless water heaters.
Sarah Chen
Office Manager
Sarah is the friendly voice you hear when you call Blue Ridge. She's been with us since 2010 and knows our schedule, our technicians, and probably your plumbing history better than anyone. She's also the one who makes sure we always follow up.
Dave Rodriguez
Senior Plumber
Dave brought 15 years of experience when he joined our team in 2015. He's our sewer and drain specialist, and the most patient technician you'll ever meet. Customers consistently praise his ability to explain complex problems in simple terms.
